Kenya's athletics team manager at the Rio Olympics was on Friday suspended by world governing body the IAAF pending a probe into potential doping irregularities in the east African country.

The IAAF Ethics Board said Michael Rotich will be banned for 180 days starting Friday "pending investigation of serious matters which have come to the attention of the IAAF Ethics Board".
