FUS Rabat’s Coach Walid Al-Rukraki acknowledged that he has made several mistakes that have caused the team to lose ground in the current season after winning the Moroccan championship title last season.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, “I committed a large number of mistakes during the current season, as I refused to bring new players to join the team. It was my decision to provide confidence to our youth players. It was a mistake which I should bear its responsibility, as it left negative repercussion on the players of the team.”
He stressed, “When we won the league last season, it was the result of the efforts exerted by the players, while we lost the tournament this season because of my personal mistakes. I bear the responsibility of our loss this season.”
He praised the efforts exerted by the board of the team, saying that they work seriously to achieve the interests of the team. He stressed that the team enjoys professional administration that work to support the team for achieving positive results. He stressed, “We should perform our role to meet the expectations of the board and our fans.”
He added, “FUS Rabat’s administration adopts professional and European-style approach in dealing with the team. I think that all Moroccans realize this fact and the results we achieve provide clear evidence over the authenticity of these words.”
