Coach of Egypt’s Ahly football team Hossam Al Badry refused the increasing criticism against the team’s fitness trainer Anis Al Shalali, expressing his satisfaction over his performance. He added, “When I chose him to join the coaching staff, I was realizing his capabilities on both personal and professional levels.”
He added that there are people who are keen to criticize our performance without study, stressing that the coaching staff does not care of such criticism. He added that the fitness trainer is not responsible for the increasing injuries witnessed among the team’s players during the recent period. He blamed the matches succession in an unscientific approach for the current problem facing the team.
Regarding the coming match against South African team Bidvest, He said that the match will be difficult, stressing the need for dealing seriously with the match to achieve positive result to qualify for the coming round of African Champions League.
He expressed his confidence that his players can overcome the South African challenge during the second leg despite its difficulty. He stressed his respect to the competitor, refusing to give any details over the plan he will adopt during the coming match.
