A Palestinian youth Thursday was shot and injured with a rubber-coated steel bullet during clashes that erupted after hundreds of Israeli settlers broke into Joseph's Tomb, east of Nablus, according to Palestinian security sources.

    Five buses carrying hundreds of settlers and escorted with Israeli soldiers forced their way into Joseph's Tomb, located in a Palestinian-controlled area, where they performed religious rituals, spurring clashes with Palestinian residents.

    A local was shot and injured with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the head. He was transferred to hospital for medical treatment, where his condition was described as stable. Settlers repeatedly break into Joseph's Tomb provoking confrontation with local residents.
