Palestinian officials were notified Thursday morning that 320-330 truckloads of goods would be permitted to enter the Gaza Strip. Palestinian liaison official Raed Fattouh said he was informed that the goods would include 20 motor vehicles, three loads of equipment for the Energy Authority, ten loads of iron pipes for the German development bank, and 45 truckloads of construction materials for USAID projects. The iron, construction materials and energy equipment are goods limited to import for international aid agencies only under the conditions of Israel\'s ongoing blockade of the Gaza Strip, which marked five years in June, Palestinian (Ma\'an) news agency reported. Limited quantities of domestic-use gas were also set for import, Fattouh said, despite reports Wednesday night that the pumping mechanism at the crossing had broken.
