Jewish settlers on Sunday stormed Al Aqsa Mosque from Al Mugharbeh gate under the protection of Israeli police officers.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said worshipers and students confronted the settlers' provocative incursions by protesting chants.
The agency added occupation troops detained Palestinians at the mosque and led them to an investigation center in Al Quds city.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained director of the Palestinian Prisoners' Club in Al Quds Nasser Qaws who was referred to interrogations without revealing causes of detention.
