Israeli settlers storm Al Aqsa Mosque

A number of Israeli settlers stormed the holy Mosque of Al Aqsa Monday amid tight security measures by Israeli police.

Nineteen settlers entered the halls of the mosque and were satisfied with the absence of Muslims inside the mosque, Palestinian sources told MENA.

Israel has installed electronic gates at the mosque following armed clashes at Al Aqsa halls on Friday, which left two Israeli soldiers and three Arab youth dead.

Israel closed the mosque following the face-off and banned Friday prayers before it reopened it on Sunday after installing the electronic gates.

Muslim worshipers and guards won't enter the mosque through the electronic gates.
