The Israeli police on Friday arrested seven Palestinians, including the Aqsa mosque Imam. 

According to local sources, the Imam of the Aqsa mosque was arrested immediately after Friday prayers. 

Six others were arrested in Silwan, south of Al Aqsa Mosque, the sources added.
