Israeli occupation forces opened fire with their heavy machine gun at farmers south the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said Friday that Israeli troops, deployed at a military guard tower on the borderline with the Gaza Strip, opened sporadic fire at farmers east of Khuza'a town, east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis.

No casualties were reported, the sources added.
