Israeli occupation forces shot dead an unidentified Palestinian girl near Za'atara military checkpoint, south of Nablus, said security sources.

Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said the Israeli forces shot the girl after she allegedly attempted to stab a soldier near the checkpoint.

The Israeli forces closed the checkpoint and banned the vehicles from passing. military reinforcements arrived later.
