The Israeli forces have detained eight Palestinians from across the West Bank, source said on Thursday.
According to security sources, the Israeli army detained one Palestinian in Jabal Mawalih after raiding and searching his home.
To the south in Beit Fajjar town, the soldiers detained a young Palestinian also after raiding and inspecting the family home.
In Hebron, Israeli forces detained a young man from Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron. According to security sources, the soldiers raided several homes in the area.
Israeli soldiers also raided other towns such as Sa’ir, Samou’ and Surif and raided several houses, state news agency (WAFA) reported.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli police detained three boys from Silwan, the old city and Ram.
Following the detention in Ram, clashes erupted between the soldiers and the youth until the early hours of Thursday morning.
To the north of the West Bank, undercover Israeli police dressed in civilian clothes detained two young men from Jenin refugee camp.
The forces also raided Kafl Haris village, southwest of Salfit and searched the homes near the main road close to the illegal settlement of Ariel.
Local sources told WAFA that 14 patrols and around 50 soldiers raided the village and fired tear gas canisters and sound bombs.
