Israeli occupation forces closed on Saturday Huwwara Military Checkpoint in both directions to and out of the West Bank city Nablus.

Israeli forces continued for the second day in a row to block entries of a number of villages north of Ramallah after fires that erupted in Halamish settlement, WAFA reported on Sunday.

The forces closed two days ago the iron gate leading to Nabi Salih, Deir Ghassaneh, Beit Rima and Salfit villages and also the entries of Aboud, Deir Abu Mash'al and Umm Safa villages.

Earlier, Israeli authorities said the Halamish fires blazed 45 settlement units.
