Ramallah - Arab Today
Israeli authorities approved on Tuesday building more than 1,000 settlement units in various parts of the West Bank.
Israeli press reports said the decision includes building a new settlement instead of one evacuated one month ago.
The decision was directly taken by the official political leadership in Israel.
There were reports days ago that Israel is expected to approve nearly 2,500 new settlement housing units across the occupied West Bank after the projects were tabled at a planning council meeting.
