Nablus - Arab Today
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Wednesday afternoon gave a demolition threat to a Palestinian-owned house and two animal barns in the village of Duma, south of Nablus city, northern West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in northern West Bank, told WAFA that an Israeli army force broke into the village and notified two Palestinian families about their intent to demolish a house and two animal barns of their own, under the pretext of construction without permission.
On a different note, IOF also handed out eviction notices to 12 families in Al-Ras Al-Ahmar town in the northern Jordan valleys, in order to carry out military drills in the area.
The notices will force the Palestinians in the area to evacuate their homes for three days starting 30 May.
Bedouin Palestinians are living in constant fear of demolition and displacement, since they live in the C areas of the West Bank, which fall under Israeli civil and military administration.
