Israeli forces overnight Monday detained at least 34 Palestinians, mostly during predawn raids across the West Bank and Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS).
Israeli occupation forces detained 17 Palestinians from Jerusalem and nearby towns. They were identified as Ahmad Abu Dalew, Malek and Mohammad Nabulsi, 12, Jihad Taha, Alaa Fakhouri, Adli Nassr-eddin, Tha’er Zughier, Anas Ebeid, Wadee Elayyan, Mohammad Halayqa, Ameer Balbisi, Ahmad Matar, 26, Osama Mteir, Ahmad Mteir, and Fadi Mteir, in addition to two others who were not identified, Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) qyoted the PPS as saying.
Meanwhile in Hebron district, south of the West Bank, Israeli troops detained Mohammad Amayrah, Ahmad Amayrah, Tamer Tarayrah, Lo’ai Tarayrah, Hazem Jabarah, Ibrahim Abu Sharar, 45, Mohammad al-Faqih, 35, and Alaa Qaqour, 34.
In Bethlehem district, Israeli army broke into the village of al-Kahder, where they detained Ahmad Qaisi, 25, Subhi Thawabteh, 20, Khaled Thawabteh, and Mohammad Omar Thawabteh.
Israeli forces also detained Mahmoud Naalweh, 30, Jamal Hamed, 49, and Ehab Amer, 22, from Tulkarm area in northern West Bank.
Two other Palestinians, namely Mohammad Adnan Nazzal and Tawfiq Rabay’ah, were also detained by the Israeli army in Jenin district.
