Israeli occupation forces allowed Monday dozens of Gazan families to visit their relatives in Eshel desert prison in southern Israel.

In press statements on Monday, Spokeswoman for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Soheir Zaqout said that 16 of the prisoners' relatives, including two children, headed to the prison via Erez/Beit Hanoun crossing to visit ten detainees.

Every Monday, Palestinian families visit their detained relatives in coordination with the ICRC.

Up to 7,000 Palestinians are detained in Israeli prisons, including 300 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
