Dozens of Palestinians suffered suffocation on Thursday during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Qabatiya, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted the director of the Red Crescent ambulance in Qabatiya Moustafa Kamel as saying that fierce clashes flared up after a large number of Israeli forces stormed several homes in Qabatiya town.
During the clashes, Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward the Palestinians, leaving many of them suffering from suffocation.
