Cairo - Arab Today
The Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) Head Essam el Amir on Friday said the terrorist group is stepping up the pace of its war against Egypt in conjunction with the final preparations for the parliamentary elections and the economic conference.
This appeared in Arish terror attacks, air defense stadium clashes, hundreds of blasts in several districts and kidnapping Egyptians in Libya, the ERTU head said.
These terror acts aim at destabilizing the Egyptian state, preventing the parliamentary elections and postponing the economic conference, he added.
El Amir called on the Egyptians to close ranks in their war against terrorists to secure the Egyptian state.
He also urged media to support the state during the current difficult phase.
