The actress Mai Ezz Eldin revealed that the rumor regarding her engagement to a businessman is not correct, as she is not currently ready for marriage and if she decides so, she will immediately announce such news.
In a special statement to “Arabstoday” regarding such issue, Mai said,” I do not know who spreads/promotes such rumors as in case I get engaged or I am even getting ready for marriage, why then I will hide the matter. Rather, I would announce this immediately and if I find the person, whom I believe is my white knight, I will happily announce. All such rumors that I am preparing myself to marry a businessman is incorrect and not real.”
Talking about deep privacy in her personal life, Mai said, "This is normal as any person wants to have a private part of his own life which he hides from the world and this is one’s own right. It is also a real fact that I do not speak much about my private life first because I do not have many details to be narrated and second as the artist's personal life is his own.
In addition, Mai denied that there is a disagreement between her and the previous series producer, Mahmoud Shemis saying, “There is no disagreement either personal or financial; it is all that the artist from time to time seeks change thus I entered into a contract with O3 Productions for television & film production and distribution affiliated to MBC Channels for the new TV series.
“Artist should always search for the best in his artistic career, and this is what I found in O3 Productions due to the fact that it presented big works at a distinctive level over the last years and I wish our cooperation will be fruitful”, Mai added.
Concerning her new TV series “Wa3d", she stated that it is directed by the genius director, Ibrahim Fakhr and scenario by Ayman Salama, adding that it is a social series full of excitement and suspense elements. However, “Wa3d" story is totally different from any other story I acted previously and there is no any similarity between it and the TV series entitled “Qadiyat Safia” which I previously acted. Not only but also, TV series “Wa3d” is a real distinctive series and I do not want to disclose its details to the spectator; I am always keen on not talking about the work details till fininshing it."
For keeping away from romantic works and the repeated presentation of excitement works, she said, “I do not keep away from romance in my works. However, spectator is attracted more to the different stories, which makes him follow it till the last episode, and this is what I always seek, to present a unique, yet different work while the course of events is not free of romance at the same time”.
Mai Ezz Eldin pointed out that the new TV series “Wa3d” cast is being selected and once completed, she and the team will start filming.
