Tehran - Arab Today
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian condemned the terrorist bomb attacks that hit two mosques packed with worshipers in Sanaa, saying that Tehran is ready to treat the wounded as soon as possible, according to Press TV.
“A team of volunteer veteran Iranian surgeons is prepared to be dispatched to Sanaa to treat the wounded at the site [of the incident],” the Iranian diplomat added.
“The team is set to enter Sanaa or to treat the wounded in Iran as soon as Yemeni officials agree,” Amir Abdollahian said.
The tragedy came about when two suicide bombers targeted the two mosques in the Yemeni capital during Friday prayers, killing at least 126 people and wounding many others.
The militants also attacked a government building and mosque in Sa'dah, in the country's northwest.
