Five people were killed and several others wounded in a yacht fire off Al-Khairan, southern Kuwait on Saturday, the country's fire department said.

    Coastal guards and firemen have managed to control the fire, the department said in a statement carried by Kuwait news agency KUNA. Investigations are underway to determine the causes of the deadly fire, it added.
