The United Arab Emirates, UAE, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have set a good example of the established values of tolerance and peace, and they represent the symbols of brotherhood, intimacy, co-operation and solidarity, stated Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance.

''The bonds between the UAE and Saudi Arabia are deep-rooted in history, and the two countries maintain exceptional and robust joint co-operation in the political, economic, social, cultural, security and military spheres,'' Sheikha Lubna added, in a congratulatory message to Saudi Arabia for its 87th National Day.

''Abu Dhabi and Riyadh are making consistent efforts, along with their international partners, to promote the values of tolerance, peace, coexistence and harmony, while confronting the rhetoric of hate, discrimination, sectarianism and racism,'' she further added.

Together, the two countries are part of an international alliance against terrorism and its sponsors and financiers, she said in conclusion.
