Sultan of Johor receives UAE Ambassador to Malaysia

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, Sultan of Johor, and the son of the late Sultan Iskander, has received Khalid Ghanem Al Ghaith, UAE Ambassador to Malaysia.

During the meeting, Al Ghaith conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Sultan Ibrahim then conveyed his greetings to the UAE’s leadership and expressed his hopes of increasing trade and investments between the two countries.

His Highness Prince Tunku Ismail, Crown Prince of Johor, and the son of Sultan Ibrahim, also hosted Ambassador Al Ghaith, and they discussed ways of enhancing their bilateral relations, especially in the areas of real estate investments, ports, services, tourism, education and sports.

The Ambassador's visit aims to discuss potential areas of co-operation while exploring investment opportunities, especially the Iskandar Project, one of the largest investment projects in Malaysia.

Prince Tunku Ismail also heads the Malaysian Football Federation and is the president of the Johor Southern Tigers Football Club.
