Minister of Information, Melhem Riachy, welcomed at his ministerial office on Tuesday, Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih Al-Najari. Talks reportedly focused on the general situation at the local and regional scenes.

Minister Riachy separately met with representatives of Media Academic Units in Lebanon's universities -- the Association of Media Academics, at the General Hall of the Ministry of Information, in presence of the Director General of the Ministry, Dr. Hassan Falha.

Minister Riachy congratulated the members of the association for obtaining a license to establish the association.

The meeting had also been an occasion to discuss the conference which will be held on the 8th and 9th of December at the Lebanese American University, in presence of media students
