President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has issued the Republican Decree (315) for the year 2017 authorizing the Attorney General to drop conviction.
The Republican Decree abolished the former Republican Decree (875) for the year 2016 which has empowered the Minister of Justice drop the conviction.
The Republican Decree will be put into action as of the date of its issuance on April 24, 2017.
