Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rahi wished on Sunday the return of Prime Minister Saad Hariri to Lebanon, in order to restore the national life.
"We hope the return of Prime Minister Saad Hariri to Lebanon, in order to restore national life and preserve the dignity, sovereignty and civil peace of the country," Rahi said during an inauguration ceremony of Saint Takla's Chruch in Dakkoun, in Aley.
"We are living today under the brunt of the surprise that of Prime Minister abruptly resigned from Saudi Arabia...and we look forward to his return to Lebanon," Rahi told the crowd.
Rahi also saluted President Aoun's wisdom and positions in managing the country's crises saying "it showed that the Lebanese are united and are together in building a strong state and he taught us how to face the crises of life with patience, endurance and persistence."
He concluded by saying that "All the Lebanese are demanding the return of Premier Saad Hariri
