Gharbiya security chief Tarek Hassouna stressed on Sunday that police forces are capable of facing outlaws and securing all govt and private institutions.

Police is able to face any attempt to break the law or carry out acts of violence, Hassouna said in press statements.

He noted that more security checkpoints were deployed along main and sub roads to achieve security and maintain order in the governorate.

He said he is following up security status during Eid al Adha celebrations through the operations room at the directorate.
