Lebanese Army Chief, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday maintained that the "Dawn of the Outskirts" offensive was an outstanding achievement in the history of the military, hailing the troops' bravery and fighting skills in the battlefield.
"Today, after you accomplished the mission in the 'Dawn of the Outskirts' operation, Ras Baalback and al-Qaa has returned under the wing of national sovereignty, baptized with the blood of your fellow martyrs and wounded," General Aoun said in his Order of the Day.
However, Aoun warned of the Israeli challenges that are still stalking Lebanon's southern borders, as well as of terror rings
