King Abdullah II and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II held today a telephone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. They discussed bilateral relations and regional developments, especially those pertaining mainly to the Palestinian issue and Jerusalem.

The Jordanian monarch emphasised the need to intensify efforts and coordinate Arab stances to protect the Palestinian rights and support the Palestinian people in their endeavour to establish their independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, Jordan News Agency reported.

Both leaders also pledged to maintain coordination and consultation to serve Arab issues.
