Israeli occupation forces early Sunday arrested Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, after raiding his home in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.

A statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Society said that the Governor has been arrested for the third time during this month.

The Israeli occupation authorities imposed a travel ban on Governor Ghaith as well as on Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Adnan al-Husseini.

The so called "Israeli commander of the central region" issued a military order preventing Governor Ghaith from entering or remaining in the West Bank for a period of 6 months, for offenses he allegedly committed.
