Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received President of the American Society of Safety Engineers Middle East Chapter (ASSE-MEC) and head of the 12th Occupational Conference of the society in the region, Tariq Saleh Al Ghamdi.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Interior Minister, Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Chief of Public Security and the conference organisers.

The Interior Minister hailed the efforts of the society in reinforcing general safety culture, highlighting that the conference, which will be held in Bahrain, will offer an opportunity to exchange expertise and information among general safety experts.

The organisers of the conference and the 10th exhibition of the society expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister for patronising the event in a way that reflects the international community’s confidence in the capability of Bahrain to hold various regional and international conferences and events.
