The 21.1 kilometre half-marathon will be held on Friday (January26) under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. The Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) runners’ committee will organise the race, during which up to 400 competitors will cross the distance from the Seef Mall to Khaleeji Commercial and back. Chaired by Shaikh Badr bin Rashid Al-Khalifa, the committee organizes up to 16 sport races annually. The committee announced its programme of races from September to March 2018.
