Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, Gibran Bassil, deemed Saturday that granting the oil block in the South confirms Lebanon's right to the maritime border with Israel.

"Granting an oil block in the South is an affirmation of our right to the maritime border between us and Israel, despite all the direct political pressures or through the media," Bassil said during his visit to the Chamber of Commerce in Sidon this morning.

Bassil went on to say, "the cabinet's oil block endorsement in South Lebanon is another type of economic resistance
