The Foreign Minister, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, has denied reports circulated by some social media outlets on Thursday about closure of Sudan borders with some neighbours.

He explained that Sudan has only applied measures to tighten control over crossing points which could be used as inlets to smuggle in weapons and drugs.

The Foreign Minister affirmed that Sudan operates joint forces with Chad which are carrying out their tasks efficiently. He added that Sudan also has security and military agreements with other neighboring countries.
