Moroccan authorities arrested in the northwestern Moroccan town of Tiflet a Daesh member, the Ministry of Interior said Tuesday.

Initial investigations turned out that the suspect, who is studying engineering, has been interested in bomb making, the ministry pointed out in a statement.

His extremist orientations were confirmed following the search of his residence, which resulted in the seizure of a document containing the recipe of a chemical mixture used in bomb making, in addition to wires, a voltmeter and bottles containing dubious material, the statement added.
