The Cabinet convened on Thursday in an ordinary session, chaired by President Michel Aoun at Beiteddine's summer presidential palace, to discuss an agenda of 47 items, in top of which the electricity dossier.
Prior to the session, Aoun held talks with Prime Minister Saad Hariri, over most recent developments on the local scene.
Hariri has told reporters upon arrival to Beiteddine palace that the electricity dossier will take its course.
For his part, Heath Minister Ghassan Hasbani indicated that the Lebanese Forces Minister would make remarks on the conditions book regarding the electricity. "The aim of those remarks is to have a comprehensive condition book and real competitivity at the best prices," he explained.
As to the by-elections issue, Interior Minister Nohad Mashnouq indicated that this item was not included in today's agenda, adding that he will tackle it anyway.
It is to note that the Cabinet observed a minute of silence in tribute to the military martyrs who fell during the "Dawn of the Outskirts" offensive
