House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday, condemned the terrorist attack in Burkina Faso's capital Ouagadougou late Sunday, resulting in the death of 18 people and dozens injured, including 3 Lebanese nationals.
In a statement issued by the Speaker's media bureau, Berri expressed his deep condolences and sorrow for all victims from all nationalities, especially those of Lebanese origin who carried their dreams and hopes from the south and north of Lebanon in search of job prospects and a decent life abroad.
Berri also called for "a comprehensive global war against terrorism and to establish an international operating room under the supervision of the United Nations, in order to eradicate the movement of terrorism and drain its resources
