Baynounah TV, a free-to-air Emirati TV channel with a mission to reflect the daily lives of the Emirati community, has launched the ''Zayed Mural'' at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, ADIHEX, to highlight the Year of Zayed initiative launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for 2018.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the country’s founding father, 2018 has been declared as the Year of Zayed by President Sheikh Khalifa.

Isa Al Mazrouei, Managing Director of Baynounah TV, stated that the Zayed Mural is a wall that carries the name of the Year of Zayed, where visitors can post their fingerprints on characters, in the colours of the nation's flag.

The initiative aims to highlight the local, regional and international achievements of the late founding father while paying tribute to his principles and values, as one of the world's wisest and most inspirational leaders.
