Sudan and South Sudan have agreed to enhance further their spirit of cooperation and resolve all the outstanding issues between them. President Omar al-Bashir and Salva Kiir Mayardit renewed the importance of communication between them and working together for the benefit of the people of the two countries and the stability of the region. The Foreign Minister Dr. Al-Dirdeeri Mohamed Ahmed said, in a press statement, that the President of the Republic affirmed the specialty of the visit of President Salva Kiir, which came in celebration of the signing of the South Sudan Peace Agreement, explaining that the relations between the two countries led to the success of Sudan's efforts to realize peace between the southern opponents. The Foreign Minister said President Salva Kiir Mayardit of the State of Southern Sudan affirmed his full commitment to implementing the agreement in detail. He added that President Salva Kiir welcomed President al-Bashir's assertion that Sudan stands with his country in the implementation phase of the agreement.
