The Forum for Inter-Cultural Dialogue of the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS) will hold an intellectual meeting in cooperation with Minya University Tuesday on "Achieving community cohesion: Enhancing values of pluralism and belief in diversity".

The event will be attended by ministers of Awqaf (Endowments) and Culture Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa and Helmy el Namnam respectively, Minya Governor Essam el Bediwy, head of the Evangelical community in Egypt Andre Zaki and the President of Minya University Gamal Abul Magd.

In statements, Zaki said that the concept of community cohesion is used to describe cases when individuals are related with joint social and cultural links where culture and education play an important role in enhancing the values of pluralism and diversity.

The meeting comes within the framework of the activities of the forum via a program with Minya University, Zaki said, adding that the forum pays great attention to developing the culture of dialogue, pluralism and accepting the other among university students who are considered Egypt's future during the coming phase.
