President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, on Friday maintained, upon October 13 memory, that "our cause was never demagogic, but aiming to build the state."

"Today, the goal has been achieved," Aoun stressed.

"A state without sovereignty, freedom, and independence cannot build itself," he said.

The President made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the Antonine University, at Baabda palace
