Egyptians back home from Libya via Salloum Crossing

As many as 373 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum Crossing over the past 24 hours, Marsa Matrouh security chief Mokhtar el Senbary said on Tuesday.

Of all the returnees, 64 had illegally traveled to Libya, he said.

Meanwhile, travel procedures for 478 persons, including 280 Egyptians and 198 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.

Ninety-six trucks laden with foodstuffs, construction materials and marble left the crossing to Libya, he said.

Senbary also noted that 132 empty trucks arrived at the crossing to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
