Members of Saudi Special Forces take part in "anti-terrorist" exercises

Security forces have arrested 20 people, half of them Saudi, accused of terror-related charges since the beginning of April.
The others arrested were of Pakistani, Syrian and Egyptian nationality.
Private security sources said during the first half of the month, security forces obtained important information about some people contacting terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq.
As such, security forces conducted several operations that led to their arrest.
Some of the arrests were from summons, while others included the arrest of a wanted person, sources said.
The operations took place in different locations in several Saudi cities, and all those arrested are under investigation, they added.
The Interior Ministry’s Nafetha website said the number of registered detained people in General Investigation prisons throughout the Kingdom is 5,116, of different nationalities.
