Defiant  Steve Kean insists his Blackburn side can turn around their season in the coming weeks. The Scot was the subject of yet more protests to see him axed during the weekend defeat to Chelsea. Fans even even flew a plane over Ewood Park with a banner saying "Steve Kean Out" behind it. His record stands at just six wins in 32 Premier League game, but Kean is targeting a vast improvement next month. Rovers face games against Wigan, Swansea and Bolton after the international break. And Kean said: "This period is massive. "You look to the first phase of 10 games and it has been tough. I feel as though we should have another six points. "Now we have got games against teams around us and if our levels are as high as they have been then I am convinced we will pick up points and by the time we get to halfway we will be much in a much, much better position." Blackburn also have winnable games against Stoke, Sunderland and West Brom before a horror Christmas involving back-to-back trips to Liverpool and Manchester United.
