Gian Piero Gasperini has defended himself from claims made by Massimo Moratti that he is to blame for Inter’s disastrous campaign. The Nerazzurri hired the tactician in the summer, only to replace him with Claudio Ranieri during the month of September.“I can’t respond to Moratti,” the 3-4-3 tactician told television show Controcampo on Sunday evening.“It’s being claimed that I took the determination out of the squad, but that was in September and now we are in April. I evidently have a magic potion…“I don’t know if he is looking for a scapegoat, but it is his analysis if, after 30 games, I’m held responsible even if I took charge of only three of them.“He’s convinced that I am to blame, but I don’t know if he’s saying that because it suits his argument.“Moratti has no patience. I’d give him one out of 10 in terms of that aspect.”The Nerazzurri are on their third Coach of the season after youth team boss Andrea Stramaccioni was upgraded to the top job last week.Stramaccioni won his first game in charge at the weekend with a 5-4 result over Genoa – a former club of Gasperini.
