Yemen

The Yemeni popular resistance, supported by the army, retook on Friday Al Jawf Governorate's city of Al Hazm, northern Yemen.

The army sent units to secure the principal city and its vital facilities, after the popular resistance conquered Houthi militias there, killing eight of them and taking many of the militants as prisoners, including Houthi militia's leaders, the popular resistance said.

The forces also controlled al Gheil directorate, southern Al Jawf Governorate.

The popular resistance elements fired shots in the air, rejoicing their victory, stressing they would continue fighting until freeing all the governorate, adjacent to Sanaa, from Houthi militias.
