Soldiers loyal to Yemen's government stand next to mines planted by the Houthi group in locations where they controlled in front line in the province of Marib on Sunday.

Yemeni army forces managed to remove 36,000 landmines planted by Houthi militias and supporters of ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh in various parts of Marib, army sources said on Wednesday.

Marib was freed from rebels, the sources said.
