Unidentified men shelled Aden International Airport, southern Yemen using at least three shells.

The shells, however, fell in the surroundings of the airport and no damage was reported.

Security forces were deployed in the vicinity of the airport at dawn Monday after the shelling, the spokesman for the Yemeni police in Aden said in a statement after the incident.
