Dozens killed, injured in twin blasts in Aden

More than 30 persons were killed and others injured on Monday in two near-simultaneous explosions in Khor Maksar district of the southern Yemeni city of Aden.

In a telephone call with Skynews, Aden Governor Aidarous al-Zubaidi said that the first blast targeted a number of recruits as they lined up to enlist for military service, leaving 20 persons dead.

As for the second blast, it targeted a group of recruits waiting outside the home of Yemeni military commander Abdullah Subaihi, he added.

Aden city was the scene of several attacks launched by Daesh and Al Qaeda organizations.
