Death toll of suicide bombing near Aden palace rises to 11

The death toll of a suicide car bomb attack that occurred near the presidential palace in Aden governorate has climbed to eleven people, medical sources said on Friday.

Also, the suicide blast left 25 others injured, including children and civilians, the sources added.

About eight bodies and 21 wounded were taken to Al Jamhouria Hospital in Aden while eight other bodies and 21 injured people were moved to Al Buraihy Hospital, according to medical sources.

Furthermore, Bashib Hospital has received unspecified number of persons who were also injured in the attack.

The blast was carried out by the same way used in similar suicide bombings that targeted the house of Aden security director and the assassination attempt of Aden governor, director general of Aden police and Lahij governor, the media office of Aden police said in a statement.
